GSRA Talks BIM with Texas A&M-Commerce and Harrison Walker & Harper

On February 25th, GSRA, in partnership with Harrison Walker & Harper, hosted a BIM (Building Information Modeling) forum with representatives from the Texas A&M University-CommerceConstruction Science College.

Using GSRA’s Revit model of the Grand Prairie Subcourthouse, Dr. Gregory Wilson, Assistant Professor in the Engineering & Technology Department, and one of his construction students demonstrated the ‘4D’ cost and ‘5D’ scheduling possibilities for construction project delivery. The day’s activities included a technical interchange session about the various challenges and benefits that architects and contractors can experience with BIM.
