Retrofit into existing shell space on BioCenter Level 3 on the UT Southwestern campus, the 21,420-square foot Pathology Lab accommodates the following clinical research labs: Cytogenetics, Molecular Diagnostics, Flow Cytometry, Histocompatibility and Stem Cell Processing. A Specimen Accessioning Section receives, sorts, and enters all specimens into the Laboratory Information System, allowing for central processing. Administrative support includes Hempath research, faculty and manager offices, residents and fellows work areas, reception offices and large conference facility. Shared support includes a large break room, staff locker room and storage rooms.
