Project Description

Renovation of approximately 7,000 s.f. of the Gilchrist Engineering Building. Includes an additional 1,125 s.f. renovation of two classrooms on the second floor of the Sam R. Collins building. This project focuses on technological upgrades to the existing facilities of the Cybersecurity program at Prairie View A&M University. This relatively new program centers on computer networking and security. Several of the Labs are dual wired for private and public networks through perimeter wall outlets. These networks are wired back to several server locations maintained by the Cybersecurity program. All spaces occupied by the Cybersecurity program were upgraded with new finishes, and upgraded HVAC systems and controls.
