The Operations Building at the Southside Wastewater Treatment Plant (adjacent to the Dewatering Facility) contains offices and a conference room for plant staff to remotely monitor the dewatering process equipment. The single-story, 3,460 s.f., concrete-framed facility is clad in aluminum composite panels and architectural masonry veneer to complement the Dewatering Facility. Designed with sustainability in mind, the Operations Building was constructed to achieve a Silver rating in the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED certification program.
