North Central Medical Plaza is a two-phase project comprised of Carrell Clinic Center (Phase 1), which is a 110,000 s.f., 5-story medical office building including the North Central Surgery Center (21,000 s.f. surgery center complete with 10 operating rooms and 4 procedure rooms), Carrell Clinic Imaging Center (8,500 s.f. state-of-the-art imaging department), and physical therapy departments; and a Phase 2, 140,000 s.f., 6-story medical office building and 5-level, 813-car parking garage.
The imaging center was constructed on the second level of the Phase 1 building and was built in two phases. It required a coordinated effort to maintain continuing operations for the facility while the second phase was constructed and new imaging equipment was brought in through the side of the existing building.
