Frank Crowley Courts District Attorney Office

The Frank Crowley Courts Building is home to three floors of renovated workspace for Dallas County, each tailored to the departments it serves.

On the 8th floor, a 10,450 SF renovation created room for Dallas County’s Pre-Trial Services, Criminal Justice Diversion, and the Dallas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association. Public reception areas, offices, conference rooms, and support spaces make up the program.

The 9th floor added 17,850 SF for the Dallas County Public Defender Department. Seven interview rooms and four video rooms anchor the layout, supported by a conference room, public reception, offices, and support areas. Both floors were completed while the building stayed fully operational, requiring careful phasing and asbestos abatement throughout construction. 

The 10th floor brought the District Attorney’s office into a 22,650 SF modern suite. The open plan separates misdemeanor and felony staff through cubicle height, keeping the floor organized without walls. Private offices, conference rooms, and a break area round out the space, with natural light pulled in from the building’s perimeter throughout. 

Across all three floors, the work reflects a consistent approach: functional, well-organized space that keeps Dallas County’s legal operations running efficiently.
