Karen Hoffmann, RID, LEED AP ID+C, AAHID, EDAC was honored to be a panel speaker at the Fuse A+D Annual Conference in Austin this week. The topic of the panel discussion was, “How Can Flooring Contractors Help the Designer?”.
Karen is a Senior Interior Designer with GSR Andrade Architects. With over 20 years of interior design work experience, she has managed numerous healthcare projects ranging from acute care to outpatient facilities. She also has experience in Science+Technology to Justice and Municipal projects. Karen is a licensed interior designer, and a founding member of the American Academy of Healthcare Interior Designers, as well as being LEED ID+C certified, and EDAC accredited in the application of evidence based research in the design of physical environments. Karen uses innovative solutions to make institutional and clinical environments a positive place for the client, patients, and community as a whole. She strives to articulate the goals of the client through the built environment with clarity and passion.
