In what has become a company holiday tradition (our 8th consecutive year), GSR Andrade once again adopted a Second Wind family for the holiday season.
Second Wind, with the help of local school administrators, identifies families within our community that are in need of assistance during the holiday season. They then pair these families with local companies (like ours), groups, churches, individual families and other organizations or clubs who want to “adopt” one family and as a group help to provide their needs.
Needs vary by family, but are generally along the lines of shoes, coats and jackets, clothes, toys, games, baby items, school supplies, household items, towels, bedding and blankets. They ask that groups adopting a family try to provide as many of the family’s needs as they can – and if possible, some of their wants.
