A ground-breaking celebration was held September 11th for the second phase of the Forney Medical Plaza along East Hwy. 80 at F.M. 548 and Broad Street in Forney, Texas.
Phase II facility will be a two-story 33,117 s.f. addition to the existing medical campus building. It will house a 13,248 s.f. emergency department (the first in Forney) on the ground floor along with two physician’s offices (a pediatrician and a cardiologist). The second floor is currently in the leasing phase.
Also included as part of Phase II of the campus is a helipad. The helipad and emergency department will create a local alternative for emergency care for the residents of Forney and the surrounding communities.
Forney Mayor Darren Rozell attended the groundbreaking ceremony, as well as many local dignitaries, City Council members, and Forney Chamber of Commerce.
