The new fire station is an 11,500 s.f. facility that includes 3 full bay apparatus bays. The facility will house a multiple-company station, designed for fifteen firefighters during each 24-hour shift. Building includes ICC-500 tornado storm shelter. The building achieved Silver LEED certification from the US Green Building Council. This facility houses a Wildland Rescue Team.
