McKinney Medical Arts Center

Project Description

McKinney Medical Arts Center is a 55,800 s.f., three-story medical office building located in McKinney, Texas, strategically positioned next to a highly successful regional hospital. The facility is home to the Rena Tarbet Cancer Center, a 10,200 s.f. oncology center featuring a linear accelerator, managed by one of the nation’s leading cancer specialists who served on President Bush’s Advisory Commission. The building also houses a 5,400 s.f. pain management clinic, an 8,700 s.f. imaging center, and several other general medical tenants.

The imaging center is equipped with advanced technology, including a 1.5T magnet for human imaging (with shell space designed to accommodate a future 3T magnet), digital R&F, Nuclear CT, CT/PET, a 16-slice CT, 3 PACS, and 2 ultrasound systems. An innovative financial structure established by the developer allows the doctors to share in the ownership of the building, fostering investment and collaboration among the medical professionals who operate within the center.
